Pay your friends with Apple Pay Cash

Apple Pay Cash is the biggest new feature in the update. It allows you to easily send money via messages to friends, family and colleagues but sadly is not yet available in Australia.

Faster Wireless Charging

Great news if you are one of the few people with a fancy new iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus or iPhone X and a wireless charger that support 7.5W charging.  You will get faster charging as Apple previously limited them to 5W.

The slightly creepy I.T issue (I watched the movie recently and I'm still emotionally scarred)

Some users were seeing autocorrect change instances of 'it' to I.T'. This should now be resolved.

Control Center tweaks

The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth icons in Control Center, no longer disable Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. They now just disconnect from Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth accessories until the next day at 5 AM (or you restart your device, or you go to a new place for Wi-Fi).

Is that it?

Of course not! iOS 11.2 includes some tweaks to emojis to provide higher quality versions and some new wallpapers have been added. There is also a new indicator at the top right of the lock screen to help you find Control Center and better Wi-Fi and Bluetooth indications. As always general performance and security updates are also included.
