Apple is launching PRODUCT(RED) special edition versions of the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus today (10/04/18) with pre-orders starting at 10:30pm AEST. The new variants will be available this Friday the 13th of April 2018 starting at $1,079.

For those that already have an iPhone X Apple is also launching a (PRODUCT)RED iPhone X Leather Folio for $145.

A portion of proceeds for all (PRODUCT)RED purchases go directly to Global Fund HIV/AIDS grants that provide testing, counselling, treatment and prevention programs with a specific focus on eliminating transmission of the virus from mothers to their babies. Since partnering with (RED) in 2006, Apple has donated more than USD$160 million to the Global Fund, serving as the organisation’s largest corporate donor.

These products join a range of Apple & Beats (PRODUCT)RED special edition products which support Global Fund HIV/AIDS grants to help people affected by HIV in Ghana, Lesotho, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Kenya and Zambia. Apple has donated more than $120 million dollars since 2006.
