Setting up a new router or Wi-Fi system, or upgrading older hardware that’s struggling to keep up with newer phones, laptops and smart TVs, can make a noticeable difference to your connection.

If you’ve got dead spots around the house, connections that keep dropping out, devices that regularly need reconnecting, or speeds that don’t match what you’re paying for, we’ll work out what’s actually causing the problem.

That might be router placement, interference, outdated firmware, your Wi-Fi equipment or an issue with your internet connection. The aim is to find the cause, not just tell you to restart the router.

Larger or older homes, particularly those with thick walls or multiple levels, often need more than one access point for reliable coverage.

We can help set up a mesh Wi-Fi system or additional access points so you get a stronger, more consistent connection throughout the house, including upstairs, garages, granny flats and studios.

Making sense of NBN

NBN can be confusing. There are different connection types, different speed tiers and plenty of plans that sound similar but can perform very differently in a real home.

We’ll help you work out what connection you’ve actually got, the speed your plan provides and the speed you’re really getting, and make sure the modem, router and Wi-Fi are connected and configured properly.

Wi-Fi doesn’t always cut it for gaming consoles, smart TVs or a home-office computer that needs a rock-solid connection.

If your home already has wired network points or a network switch, we can help connect and configure your devices properly. We can also help with high-speed wired networks, including 10-gigabit setups, for homes that regularly move large files between computers and storage.
