Choosing & setting up a new printer

Not all printers suit every home the same way. For most households, an inkjet or ink tank printer is the better fit, ink tank models in particular can significantly cut ongoing running costs compared to standard cartridges, while still giving great colour and photo output. We’ll help you choose a printer that suits how much you print and how you’ll use it, then get it connected properly the first time over Wi-Fi or AirPrint, rather than leaving you to fight with it every time you need to print something.

Fixing common printer problems

Printers that won’t print, print blank pages, show as offline, drop off the network after a router restart, or produce streaky or faded output are all things we deal with regularly. We’ll track down the actual cause, whether that’s a driver issue, a network problem, or something more basic like low ink or a paper jam sensor, rather than just restarting things and hoping it sticks.

Scanning & sharing documents

We can help set up scanning to email, to a folder on your Mac, or straight to cloud storage like iCloud or Dropbox, including setting up a scan-to-PDF workflow if you regularly need to digitise paperwork.
