Apple Announces New MacBook Air, iPad Pro & Mac Mini
At this weeks There's more in the making event Apple announced new MacBook Air, iPad Pro, Mac Mini, Apple Pencil & Smart Folio for iPad Pro.
MacBook Air
As expected Apple has announced its stunning new MacBook Air with an even more portable design, Touch ID, Retina display and faster specs.
The new MacBook Air comes in Gold, Silver and Space Grey and now (finally) includes a Retina display. The MacBook Air retains it’s all day battery life with up to 12 hours of wireless web browsing and ditches the huge silver bezels.
It includes an updated butterfly keyboard, a larger Force Touch trackpad, faster SSDs, wide stereo sound, the Apple T2 Security Chip and 2 x Thunderbolt 3.
The enclosure now includes 100% recused aluminium making it the greenest Mac yet.
13″ MacBook Air with Touch ID 1.6GHz Dual‑Core Processor with Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz, 128GB Storage starts at $1,849.00. Upgrade to 256GD SSD for an extra $300, 512GB for $600 and 1.5TB for $1,800.

Both models allow an upgrade to 16GB of memory for an additional $320. The new MacBook Air is available to order immediately with the first orders shipping on the 6th of November.
iPad Pro
Apple today introduced the new iPad Pro with all-screen design and up to 90% faster performance.
The new design includes models with an 11-inch and 12.9-inch Liquid Retina displays. They integrates Face ID to securely unlock iPad from any orientation.
Apple says the new A12X Bionic chip with next-generation Neural Engine in iPad Pro outperforms most PC laptops.
It offers a new USB-C connector, Gigabit-class LTE and up to 1TB of storage. The new USB-C connector now allows the iPad to charge other devices like your iPhone.
The new USB-C connector replaces the Lightning connector to provide charging, support for high-bandwidth data transfers up to twice the speed and drives external displays up to 5K.
The new iPad Pro 11-inch starts at $1,229 for Wifi and $1,449 for Wifi/Cellular. The 12.9-inch model starts at $1,529 for Wifi and $1,749 for Wifi/Cellular.
Mac Mini
The Mac Mini has gone without a major update since 2014. Now with 5x performance, 6 core CPUs, up to 64Gb memory & all flash storage.
Apple has given the Mac mini a massive increase in performance and they changed the colour too! It is now in Space Grey.
Now with 4 or 6 core processors, up to 64GB of faster memory and blazing 4x faster flash storage, the new Mac mini delivers 5x faster performance.
The new Mac Mini now includes 4 Thunderbolt 3 ports, HDMI 2, 2 USB-A ports and the Apple T2 Security Chip. It even comes with a 10Gb Ethernet option and allows up to 2TB of flash storage.
Like the new MacBook Air the new Mac Mini includes a 100% recycled aluminium enclosure. The new Mac Mini is available to order immediately and the first orders ship on November 6th.

Apple Mac Mini 3.0GHz 6-Core Processor with Turbo Boost up to 4.1GHz 256GB Storage starts at $1,699.00 but can be specced out to $6,659.00.
Apple Pencil 2nd Generation
A new Apple Pencil that attaches magnetically to the side of the iPad was also announced. The new Pencil also charges wirelessly while magnetically attached and pairs automatically when attached.
It is available to order now for $199 and ships on November 6th.
Smart Keyboard Folio
The new Smart Keyboard Folio protects both the front and back of iPad Pro and includes a full-size keyboard sarges and pairs via the same magnetic connector.
It is available to order now and ships on November 6th. the 11-inch model is $269 and the 12.9-inch model is $299.
